She holds a Masters Degree in Health Education and was awarded the New Hampshire Community Technical College System Commissioner’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2007. With over twenty years experience in higher education, Andrea has advised and coached hundreds of students and dozens of faculty. Her creation and implementation of a college course titled, “Planning Personal Health,” has helped many to plot and follow their best course of action for maximum health and life fulfillment.
Andrea’s experiences have included one foot in education and the other in health care. Prior to being a college educator, Andrea worked in health care for over 14 years, including the National Institutes of Health, the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, the Veterans Administration as well as smaller, independent acute care hospitals.
Andrea's background in both academia and health care provide her with an understanding of the challenges associated with working in varied professions. In addition, she and her husband have two children, ages 19 and 23, and she understands the delicate balance of being a professional and maintaining a personal family life.

Transitions occur throughout our lives: going from single to married, or back to single again; learning to cope with a family of three rather than of two. You may be a stay-at-home mom thinking about entering a career force, or a corporate executive considering a slower paced business from home. All of these changes are challenging; presenting you with many confusing choices that can be clarified through the coaching process.
For some, achieving wellness may mean learning how to navigate sudden health changes, or working within the often confusing red tape of a health care system. For others, this may mean incorporating an exercise program, learning about better nutrition, or adding strengthening spirituality in their life. I have worked with individuals on both ends of the spectrum providing support during the preparations for the end of life, and helping others to prioritize their wellness needs and take action on areas of greatest concern.
